Exclusive reservation in online booking

Introduction

You want to configure a product online that will allow making an exclusive reservation. This means that after the reservation is made, that session is not bookable anymore. This is important when you want a group of people can make a close reservation for a private event. After an exclusive reservation is made, the sessions that are part of that reservation are not bookable anymore from anybody else; it will not matter if the reservation didn’t reach the maximum capacity.

Configuration

You can configure this product normally and then in the advanced settings you can enable ‘Exclusive’

Conclusion

The online platform will show the availability for:

• sessions that are not part of an Exclusive reservation
• sessions whose settings agree with the one on the product and entry type (product group limit, schedule group)

A very important thing to remember is that it is strongly recommended to NOT change or edit anything on an online reservation.
