How to change the show on a certain TV

Introduction

This tutorial explains how to change the show on a certain TV.

Configuration

There are two possibilities to change which show is being used on a TV. You can either configure it on the computer where the TV application is running, or you can configure it from another computer with the use of our system.

Option 1: Directly on the TV computer

To change a show directly on the TV computer, follow these steps:

1. Connect to the computer directly (Teamviewer or any other remote access program)
2. You can also use mouse and keyboard on the computer without having to use any remote access program
3. Make sure you select the application by clicking anywhere on the screen with the left mouse button
4. Once clicked, use the key combination ‘CTRL’ – ‘SHIFT’ – ‘F3’
5. A window opens that shows you all settings/configurations for that particular TV application on the selected computer
6. Search for the setting ‘Show’
7. In the dropdown, select the correct show that you want to use
8. Confirm with ‘Save’

Option 2: From another computer

1. Open the ‘Menu’ in the top right corner of the application
2. Go to ‘System’
3. Click on ‘Devices’, the ‘Devices’ overview page will open
4. Search the correct computer where the application is running on. This is the reason why it is important to give your computers a simple and unique name. All is explained in this tutorial.
5. Double click to open the settings of that computer.
6. Go to ‘Application Settings’
7. Double click on the TV application
8. A window opens that shows you all settings/configurations for that particular TV application on the selected computer
9. Search for the setting ‘Show’
10. In the dropdown, select the correct show that you want to use
11. Confirm with ‘Save’
